Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Potential For Advancement: Seeking a qualified individual to move into a working shop foreman role

Oversee and plan workflow of the fleet service department by establishing priorities and scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs. Perform preventative maintenance, repairs and inspections of vehicles and equipment as required.
- Ability to show competency and have experience in the following areas:
- Class 8 trucks
- Industrial vacuum trucks and vacuum systems
- Water blasters, water blasting components and pressure washers
- Hydraulic systems
- Truck Electrical systems
- Construction equipment
- H.D. engine diagnosing and repair
- Small engines
- Air brakes
- Metal fabrication skills and experience
- Clean driving record and insurable in accordance with Company's current auto insurance carrier
- Valid Michigan License. CDL preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
