Diesel Generator/Welding Equipment Repair Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Welding Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our welding equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical repair, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair welding equipment and generators, including MIG, TIG, stick welders, and plasma cutters.

Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity

Keep detailed records of equipment repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts inventory

Order and replace parts as needed

Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

Prior experience in equipment repair and/or maintenance on diesel engines and small engines

Strong mechanical and electrical diagnosing and troubleshooting skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

Valid driver's license

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:

Electrical/Mechanical: 3-5 years (Required)

Small Diesel Engine experience a plus
