Quality Enterprises USA, Inc., a leading heavy civil construction company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on company equipment and heavy machinery in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner at their Naples, FL location.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repair work on company vehicles and trailers.
  • Diagnose and perform repairs according to manufacturer's specifications on engines, transmissions and clutches, suspension and steering, fuel and ignition (gas and diesel), electrical systems, brakes, and HVAC systems, etc.
  • Follow paper-flow procedures for: documenting correct mileage/ hours at time of repair, save and tag all warranty and core parts, document all repairs on work orders, and follow parts ordering procedures.
  • Perform final operational test on all vehicles to quality-check repairs.
  • Complete required inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles to maximize the safety, productivity, and lifespan. This includes: DOT inspections, fluid changes, lubrications, safety inspections, and brake repairs.
  • Craft thorough reports and records in a timely manner and provide final documentation of all repairs. Additionally, submit parts requisition forms to purchasing agent.
  • Participate in general shop operations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.


Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with Dodge and Honda preferred.
  • Experience with Kenworth a plus
  • Ability to work independently, establish and follow schedule of preventative maintenance inspections, and make all adjustments and repairs as required.
  • Fleet or automotive maintenance experience and DOT certification required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., have a valid Class E license and DOT physical card (or ability to obtain), and pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Works well in a fast-paced, demanding team environment.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively with a team.
