EAPC Architects Engineers is excited to announce a new job opening for the position of Dickinson Office Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Architect or Engineer to take on a leadership role within our organization. Role Overview: As the Dickinson Office Lead, you will play a crucial role in providing business development and administrative leadership for the EAPC Dickinson office in support of the western North Dakota Region. The Office Lead strives to provide excellent customer service to the Dickinson community and surrounding area by building and maintaining relationships, identifying and pursuing business opportunities, ensuring quality project outcomes, and supporting EAPC regional needs. This person will be relied on as a local expert in helping to address any client concerns, identify local partnerships for growth, and recommend any improvement opportunities for further development of this office. Key Responsibilities include (not exhaustive list): Business Development Work and collaborate with the other sector leaders, marketing staff, and design professionals throughout the firm and particularly within the firms Western Region to develop relationships and win work. Lead and oversee the analysis of RFQs and RFPs and the development of written proposal responses. Develop, craft, and write proposals and oversee the preparation and timely completion of qualifications packages and proposals with all contributing parties both inside and outside the firm. Office Administration Oversees facility questions, workplace arrangements, comfort, and other dispositions and conditions regarding the workplace. Ensures that office procedures, policies, and standards are consistent between offices and are utilized consistently within the office by all staff. Develops/helps develop and build EAPC culture and office environment. Participates in recruitment, selection, onboarding, mentoring, and training of new employees in collaboration with HR. Assist in the creation of and adherence to office budgeting. Ensure Project Plans are entered and maintained in Vantagepoint by Project Managers and all projects are tagged to their Office. Complete monthly Backlog review and coordination. Project Management Ensure projects are meeting/adhering to the needs of the client. Monitor project cost to budget during the course of the work. Forecast potential over-budget issues before project completion. Monitor project schedules against percent completion. Create and maintain project plans for use within Vantagepoint. Project-specific QAQC and coordination with the QAQC team efforts. Technical This position will maintain a reduced architectural or engineering workload in alignment with their experience and qualifications. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree from an accredited Interior Design, Architecture/Engineering, or Construction Management program required Minimum 5 years of architectural/engineering or construction experience; 10+ years preferred Licensure preferred; must be on a path to licensure Demonstrated ability to actively listen, collaborate, and communicate effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary team members and clients Ability to communicate collaboratively with honesty, respect, and sensitivity Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks/projects concurrently; ensures tasks are completed and commitments are met by others Must possess a valid drivers license Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship This position is located in Dickinson, ND.
