Shift: SAT, SU, MO, TU, WED 3PM-1130PM Contributes to the Hospital's mission by independently operating sonographic equipment and performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. This professional staff technologist position will have an impact on quality, safety and the patient experience. Job Description: $12,000 Sign On Bonus. Shift: SAT, SUN, MON, TUE, WED - 3 PM-1130 PM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Required: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Preferred: Associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Experience: Preferred: Two years of ultrasound experience Other Skills/Knowledge: Required: For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty(ies) as appropriate, or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must obtain registration within 12 months of hire date.
