Job Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Work Shift: Evening (United States of America) $12,000 Sign On Bonus. Shift: SAT, SU, MO, TU, WED 3PM-1130PM Contributes to the Hospital's mission by independently operating sonographic equipment and performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. This professional staff technologist position will have an impact on quality, safety and the patient experience. Job Description: $12,000 Sign On Bonus. Shift: SAT, SUN, MON, TUE, WED - 3 PM-1130 PM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Required: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Preferred: Associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Experience: Preferred: Two years of ultrasound experience Other Skills/Knowledge: Required: For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty(ies) as appropriate, or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must obtain registration within 12 months of hire date. LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Basic Life Support POPULATION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: Neonates, Infants, Children, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS: Professional Commitment Requirements: Keep abreast of developments in the field and/or licensure through continuing education, participation in professional organizations or a combination of both On-call: Rotation required Schedule requirements: Required to regularly rotate through days, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary Travel requirements: May be scheduled at any of the radiology locations FLSA Status: Non-Exempt As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
