Devsecops Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Title: DevSecOps/DevOps Engineer (TS/SCI Cleared)
Location: Herndon, VA
Duration: Direct Hire, Permanent
Salary: $155k-165k (Based on Experience) Responsibilities:

• Serves as a DevOps Engineer for CI/CD pipeline

• Design Enterprise Kubernetes Infrastructure (from scratch-CI/CD, Git, Jenkins)

• End-to-end (installation, configuration, hardening, networking, etc)

• Implement multiple Kubernetes Masters for high availability

• Configure auto provisioning

• Configure auto scaling of CI/CD job/build/agents/runners/nodes

• Implement Kubernetes services and Network Policies

• Network Encryption between Kubernetes clients such as:

• kubectl, Kubernetes masters, and nodes

• Brief / Defend your design in front of the DevSecOps review board

• Security, Networking, Infrastructure, DevOps

• Design and Implement:

• Clusters, cluster segmentation

• Internal/external networking for 4+ CI/CD deployment environments

• Dev, test, staging, production

• Cluster sizing and scaling

• Configure CI/CD deployments with ConfigMaps, Secrets and SecurityContexts

• Installing, configuring Ingress Controller(s) (Nginx or other)

• Ingress TLS Termination

• Utilizes Configuration as Code, with tools such as ansible, puppet, chef. Qualifications:

• BS in STEM Field

• DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II

• 9+ years of position relevant work experience

• Experience w/ AWS and/or Azure services to support native cloud support of:

• DevOps tools, Operational Support, and DevOps Technologies

• Experience w/ CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment

• Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages:

• Shell, Python, JavaScript, Typescript and PowerShell

• Experience with Linux environments

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible or other comparable products

• Experience working in an agile development environment

• Experience with software development using Java and RESTful services
