Responsibilities OBXtek is currently staffing for DevSecOps Engineer Oversee the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) of the working product Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle Develop, test, and deploy secure code and scripts using common programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, etc. Perform security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing on applications and infrastructure Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts using tools such as Splunk, ELK, etc. Collaborate with developers, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies and standards Working with the Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Testing teams to define the set of tools and processes for the continuous delivery pipeline Ensure tools are compliant with security requirements Streamline the ATO process from a tools and technical process perspective Automate testing where possible and optimizing code coverage Ensure CI/CD processes align with operational requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Must have hands-on experience working with tools and technologies in, at a minimum, two of the following areas: software development, configuration control, testing, security, automation, containerization, orchestration, cloud services, open-source technologies.
At least 8 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of Linux and RHEL 8 operating systems and commands.
Experience with any of the following:
NVIDIA
Docker
C/C
Python
Java
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
Experience with security tools and frameworks such as NIST, OWASP, SANS, etc.
