Job Description Our ideal candidate will have experience working with containers and Kubernetes, strong technical and communication skills, and understanding of IT infrastructure, Dev/Ops, open-source software and/or application development. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintaining an expert-level understanding of the Rancher Labs portfolio of products.
Understanding complimentary technology, such as Kubernetes, Prometheus etc.
Providing technical consulting for Rancher users architecting container solutions.
Working with prospects and customers to implement solutions based on Rancher and.
Demonstrating the impact of Rancher for users.
Building technical solutions to help solve customer problems.
Developing and executing account plans for strategic accounts.
Maintaining long term relationships with customers and partners.
Understanding feature requests and advocating for customers and users with product management.
Providing leadership and customer feedback throughout the sales lifecycle.
Acting as a public representative of RGS in North America, including writing, speaking at industry events, conferences and seminars.
Work with existing customers to maintain customer satisfaction.

16+ years of experience working in systems engineering or software development
Deep knowledge of containers and container orchestration (Rancher, Kubernetes, Docker) for both operations and development.
Experience with DevOps concepts.
Experience with CI/CD and automation software.
Experience presenting on technical concepts to end users both in person and virtually.
Experience speaking at Industry events
Experience creating technical white papers, blogposts and videos.
Experience working in an open source community.
Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude for learning.
