Description : Markon is seeking Mid-Level coach with a background in software engineering, cloud computing, systems engineering, computer science, or a similar field with experience in DevOps / DevSecOps methodologies. Responsibilities: The positions on the DevSecOps team act as strategic advisors to Senior Customers and must have hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining continuous integration/continuous delivery build pipelines. Assist lead engineer with the design, development, and instantiation of the deployment process for the project Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in multiple integration and test (I&T) environments Install, configure and manage automated testing tools in the environment AWS Cloud Architectures and utilization and hands on experience in Cloud architectures Communicating with non-development communities on effective migration strategies for the DevOps pipeline. Candidate will provide recommendations to teams and executive clients for tools that enable testing and integration, hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, and DevOps pipelines. Job Requirements Requirements: Bachelor's Degree In information technology or related field 3 years of experience and DevOps/DevSecOps Certification can be considered in lieu of a degree. 3-8 years of DevOps, DevSecOps, and/or Software Engineering utilizing DevOps best practices Experience with cloud development and deployment strategies Familiarity with industry software standards and practices in development and security Familiarity with CI/CD orchestrator tools e.g. Jenkins, Maven, Ant, or similar CI/CD orchestrator tool(s) Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks Travel 0 - 10% Location Chantilly, VA - Chantilly, VA 20151 US (Primary) Education Bachelor's Degree Job Type Full-time Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Category Engineering Exemption Type Exempt Date Needed By Security Clearance Top Secret/SCI with Counter Intelligence Polygraph
