Developer II

Duties: Accountable for application development supporting business objectives while demonstrating independence in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing. Work on new and existing applications along with enhancements to websites, web applications, and infrastructure. Perform hands-on coding and assists in architecting web content solutions. Serve as a liaison to internal customers, research groups, and various business support areas. Provide technical guidance to junior programmers and other software engineers. Troubleshoot and maintain mid-level to complex applications. Participate in design and technical meetings. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; plus 3 years of Software Developer or related experience. Requires 3 years of experience in all of the following: 1) N-tiered applications, multi-tier architecture, and production Internet architectures; 2) Core C , ASP.Net MVC, NUnit and Moq, LINQ, Entity Framework, Spring.Net, Continuous Integration, JQuery, CSS, AJAX; 3) Object-oriented design concepts and software development processes; 4) Cassandra NoSQL database, MSSQL, and Aurora Relational databases; 5) ElasticSearch; 6) AWS Services. 40 hours/week, $109,200 to $115,908 per year.
