Desktop Support Technician Level II with Security Clearance

Tyto is looking for a Desktop Support Level II to join our Westover team in Chicopee, MA. This is a complex, multi-year contract supporting the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services. Responsibilities: Provides support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware. Performs configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripherals May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties. Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise. Requirements: Experience as a desktop support technician or equivalent (IT Support, Helpdesk Support, Support Technician, etc.) Experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity. Capabilities needed to deliver in-person and remote IT aid. Fantastic installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities. Strong customer support and customer service skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
