We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Desktop Support Technician (Level 2) to join our team on an immediate project. This position is located close to Burbank, CA and you will be supporting a major media company with a wide variety of Windows and MacOS based users within a large enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic environment, providing on-site IT support across our expansive campus and studios. Customer Service is a priority above all else in this environment and as a Level 2 technician you will be expected to resolve issues that have been escalated within a timely manner within SLAs provided.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have hands-on experience supporting both Windows and MacOS, network printers, user system access and browser issues, Office365, mobile devices (iOS & Android), hardware support and asset management using ServiceNow as a ticketing system. Prior experience in a broadcast or media environment would be a plus but not required. Responsibilities



  • Troubleshoot issues with Windows and MacOS environments.

  • Interface with users for troubleshooting Desktop and laptop issues.

  • Troubleshoot and configure smartphones.

  • Set up users with functional desktop PC equipment and ensure appropriate access to applications, software suites, and domain access.

  • Track and maintain service tickets using ServiceNow.

  • Report any challenges or roadblocks immediately to the Manager.

  • Provide end-user support in a fast-paced environment.

  • Visit numerous users throughout the Work/Entertainment Campus and Studios, which will require lots of outdoor walking.


Requirements



  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting issues with Windows 10 and MacOS environments.

  • Hands-on support of Office 365 and Active Directory.

  • Experience in setting up users with functional desktop PC equipment and ensuring appropriate access to applications, software suites, and domain access.

  • Experience in smartphone troubleshooting and configuration (iOS & Android).

  • Basic networking experience supporting Network Printers and network fileshares or One Drive cloud storage.

  • Hands-on experience supporting Dell laptops and monitors.

  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.

  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.

  • Professional, mature, and customer-service focused.

  • Physical ability to do lots of outdoor walking across large campus, must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, and be able to bend down under desks.


Additional Details


The base range for this contract position is $24 - $30/per hour, depending on experience.


Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
