Hourglass' digital environment is growing quickly, and we are looking for a rockstar to join us on our journey. In this role, you will concept and create digital ads for Hourglass. You will work closely with the Director of Growth Marketing, Creative Director and VP of Digital to ideate on and craft beautiful, clear and effective assets for placement across our full-funnel campaigns.

If you're a creative who loves using consumer insights to inform your design, you'll thrive in this role. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and a test-and-learn thinker. You love the challenge of creating a thumb-stopping asset while still clearly communicating a brand message. You have multiple ads you love saved on TikTok and Instagram. Strong communication skills and confidence in receiving feedback from several stakeholders is essential.

WHAT YOU DO:

Create and elevate content for paid media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest (video/motion & static).

Responsible for developing compelling yet effective assets that achieve paid media objectives and strategies.

Strong capability in UX/UI design and innovative approach to the consumer journey.

Collaborate with key functional teams to ensure content is representative of brand & creative guidelines while following digital best practices.

Stay current with trends, emerging platforms and industry best practices to apply and test new knowledge.

Utilize data and analytics to make informed design decisions, focusing on elements that drive the highest engagement and conversion rates.

Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and priorities effectively.

Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all work produced.

Strong collaborator with openness to explore and experiment with new design techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3 years BFA / BA in Graphic Design or other closely related field preferred.

Proficient in: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD/Sketch, Figma and After Effects.

A refined taste level with expert design and typography skills.

Ability to take direction from Art Directors and Marketing Exec's and provide multiple solutions.

Ability to concept design solutions with limited direction.

Ability to prioritize with tight deadlines and follow through.

A self-starter who is motivated to set and achieve goals and takes initiative within the workplace.

Extremely detail oriented and well organized with strong problem-solving skills.

Team player with positive "can-do" attitude.

Strong verbal and written communication.

An understanding of customer priorities and ability to strive to exceed expectations.

UX/UI design experience is a must.

Experience with Shopify and Klavio is a plus.

Extensive knowledge of Meta, Tiktok, google etc. best practices.

Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time.

The expected base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $85,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
