Our client, an industry leader specializing in large-scale automotive and aerospace conversion coating and paint finishing systems, is looking for a Designer to join their innovative team.

About the Role:

As a Designer, you'll be at the forefront of designing advanced HVAC and piping systems, playing a critical role in shaping the future of large commercial and industrial projects. Your technical acumen and creative problem-solving skills will drive the design process, ensuring efficiency and precision in every project.

What We Need From You:

Educational Background: An associates degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Experience: 5-7 years in process experience, particularly in commercial/industrial-grade ventilation, heating, cooling systems, and process piping.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Autodesk suite including AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D, Autodesk Inventor, and Navisworks.

Skills: Exceptional ability in sizing ductwork and piping, selecting pre-engineered equipment, and integrating them into comprehensive design packages.

Detail-Oriented Approach: Keen attention to detail in reviewing design layouts, detailed design, approval, certified, and as-built designs.

Your Day-to-Day:

Own and manage specific design aspects of diverse projects.

Maintain up-to-date drawing lists, collaborating closely with the Design Team.

Gather necessary data for accurate drawing production.

Participate actively in project meetings and provide insightful inputs.

Ensure design conformance through periodic shop fabrication inspections.

Undertake field measurements and monitor field installation progress.
