GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Depot Line Manager - Engineering Technician V to join our team at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor activities on a repair or assembly line, observing work for efficient use of resources, adherence to work instructions and quality standards, and meeting production schedules. Oversee troubleshooting and diagnostic tests and procedures and evaluate results. Mentor and assist with the training of junior technicians. Assist with forecasting repair line progress, make recommendations concerning line loading, and represent the line at regular production meetings. Review, analyze, and integrate the technical work of others. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school/vocational school diploma or GED certificate or Technical school diploma Experience: 5 years' work-related experience in electrical/electronic systems. Prior experience at the Navy Array Technical Support Center (NATSC) as a repair line supervisor or senior technician. Experience performing diagnostics/troubleshooting and electronic repairs at the component level using copper and fiber optic signal path repair procedures/techniques using formal work procedures and documented quality standards. Functional knowledge and experience with NATSC capital equipment including, but not limited to, that used with array hosing/dehosing, pressure, tension, and handling testing, and automated/semi-automated electronic test equipment. Experience using the NATSC Depot Application (NDA) Experience using the Towed Array Management System (TAMS).
