The proper candidate will oversee a team of nationwide field engineers responsible for support of hundreds of retail enrollment locations, technology equipment, software, staff, and other materials and technology. The candidate must be very well organized; able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment involving interactions with numerous people; have an excellent understanding of technology; and be willing travel around the country when physical presence is appropriate. Primary operations are managed out of Ashburn, VA and Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities: Support Microsoft-based networks running Window 10 on Active Directory over a VPN. Under the guidance of Team Lead, duties may include some or all of the following: receiving assets, moving equipment within and/or between facilities, executing equipment replacement activity, updating asset management system to reflect work performed, monitoring daily activity, installing and maintaining PC hardware and software, troubleshooting network usage and computer peripherals, resolving network communication problems independently, preparing assets for disposition, and other administrative duties. Provides training to retail site staff to assure they comply with all operational, functional and technical requirements. May also involve transporting equipment using a vehicle between multiple facilities within an assigned service area, as directed by an IT representative. Responsible for all deployment, downloads, doing local installations. Experience with PC support, including deployment and PC hardware troubleshooting and repair. Experience with direct client interaction. Experience to manage incoming and outgoing assets, including preparing systems for deployment and customized configuration. Ability to use KP tools to execute PC activity, ServiceNow experience. Provides technical support and analysis to retail locations staff and field engineers and technicians. Support technologies such as Active Directory networking, Cisco Anyconnect VPN clients, Microsoft Group Policy troubleshooting, and Windows based Application Helps development for updates to training to provide field support regarding technical, programmatic and operational aspects of services enabled with technology in the field. Travel is frequent and work is generally performed at the customer site. Answers questions about installation, operation, and use of technology components in the field. Job Requirements Qualifications: Must be able to hold a DHS Public Trust clearance. High School plus specialized training, and 5 - 6 yrs of experience with extensive knowledge of field. Mush be able to works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. Must be able to plans own work, uses judgment within limits of standard practice, an only asks for supervision for unusual cases. Proficient with Windows Operating Systems, Cisco Anyconnect VPN, Ticket Systems, desktop hardware devices (tablets, monitors, POS devices, etc.), web and client applications, SaaS-based tools, cloud technology, etc. A professional, get-it-done attitude with attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
