Outcome of the Role

The?Dental?Treatment Coordinator's?role is to establish?a parent/patient relationship with the dentist for proper communication regarding the recommended treatment plans and facilitate successful closures of financial negotiations.

  • Efficiently schedule appointments for all patient services
  • Understand, monitor, and ensure the'smooth execution of?office?processes, including but not limited to,?verifying insurance benefits,?communicating with parents/patients regarding their insurance coverage, communication with Revenue Cycle to ensure insurance BOB is uploaded to build plans properly, assisting front desk'staff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one?year of administrative experience
  • Previous experience in?a dental?practice is a plus
  • Availability to work weekends

  • Able to multitask and?complete?tasks correctly and on time

  • Preferred knowledge of?eClinicalWorks/Dolphin Database, UKG, and must be proficient at using Microsoft Word?and Excel

Physical Requirements

This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a dental office which is a clinical and office environment. Dental Team Leaders are occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals; therefore, compliance with proper safety and OSHA standards is required. This role routinely utilizes standard dental and office equipment.
