Dental Patient Coordinator

Schedule varies. Mon-Sat (minimum of 1 Sat/month required for each staff member)

$25-$30/hour

Job duties include checking patients in/out, collecting co-pays, scheduling new patients (high volume each month), verifying dental insurance & eligibility, confirming appointments, presenting treatment plans, strong understanding of the mechanics of crafting a schedule that meets the financial requirements of the practice.

Candidates must have at least 3 years' experience in a dental office. Strong attention to detail is crucial. Need someone that has great attendance and reliable transportation. Must have excellent communication skills, ability to type 40+ WPM, with great spelling and no errors, and the ability to overcome treatment objections is required.

Software used is Open Dental, Dexis. 9 dentists, 8 hygienists, 18 dental assistants, 4 billing team, 6 patient care coordinators, 1 CFO, 1 Practice Manager, 1 Project Manager (48-50 employees total). Longest tenured employee at 20 years.

Position is available due to employee moving.
