Dental Hygienist Sign on Bonus

Overview:

Matanzas Dental Group is now seeking a Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the cities surrounding practice practice including, Jacksonville, Palatka, Palm Coast, and St. Augustine, Florida.

Drs. Gregory and Isabell Oxford of Matanzas Dental Group (Formerly Oxford Dental Associates) in St. Augustine, FL, are looking for a Full Time or Part Time Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our practice. This position offers highly competitive salary and benefits, as well as a Sign on Bonus (for Full Time only).

We are a high end, top quality fee for service office. Our philosophy is, "Treat everyone like you would like to be treated." Our practice focuses on patient education and delivering excellence in service and care to every patient. We are a multidisciplinary practice with five providers including a Periodontist, two General Dentists, and two Hygienists.

As a valued member of the team, the Dental Hygienist (RDH) will have flexibility to be either:

Four or five days a week (for Full Time)

or

One to two days a week (for Part Time)

Expected hours are 7:45am - 5pm (office closed for lunch from noon - 1pm).

Responsibilities:
Screening patients during check-ups
Reviewing patient's history
Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
Documents area of existing restorations
Use of X-ray
Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene
Conduct screenings
Assist patients with oral hygiene
Qualifications:
Active Florida Hygienist license required
Current BLS/CPR certifications
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience
