Job Description:
Administers dental sealants and fluoride treatments as required
Performs prophylactic/preventive treatments (i.e. cleaning, fluoride sealant application,
polishing);
Prepares patients and organizes equipment to facilitate dental treatments
Provide oral hygiene instructions
Documents history and findings using electronic health/dental record
Administers local anesthesia under direct supervision of a dentist
Obtains patient medical histories and maintains dental files, charts and records
Sterilizes and maintains dental instruments, equipment, supplies, medications, and the
dental room
Takes digital radiographs
Takes impressions of the mouth
Assists in maintaining dental operatory and equipment per manufacture and ADA
standards
Provides Oral Health Case Management
Assists with meeting performance standards of grant funded programs
Observes proper OSHA infection control procedures
Applies universal precaution standards
Performs other related duties

Skills:
Less than 1 year of experince required.
Dental Hygienist license issued by the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners

Active Certification:
Covid Vaccinated/Declination,
Maryland Dental Hygienist license,
BLS.
