Dental Hygienist

Must be from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Coralville, Marion, Hiawatha, IA and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities: -Conducting oral health assessments and screenings -Cleaning and scaling teeth to remove plaque and calculus -Applying fluoride treatments and sealants -Taking and developing dental x-rays -Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques -Administering local anesthesia when necessary -Assisting the dentist during procedures -Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation Experience: -Experience in performing vital signs and medical documentation -Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions -Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, CAD, or Epic -Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus -Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality -Ability to work effectively in a dental office setting Please note that a valid Dental Hygienist license is required for this position.
