Medical Denials Specialist - Onsite in Alcoa TN
LHH is seeking a Medical Denials candidate with 1 or more years of experience, for our client in Alcoa. This large healthcare organization is adding to their team due to growth. This position is ideal for those seeking opportunities in a large organization.
Summary overview:
Type of hire: Temp to Hire
Location: 100% onsite, Alcoa TN - high performers may be permitted to work a hybrid schedule after hired on permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Pay rate: $16 to $18/hour
Responsibilities will include:
Reviewing denied/rejected claims from carriers (Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care, and Commercial insurances)
Collecting payer information for claim rejections
Directing rejected claims to other departments, as needed
Flagging non-uniform claims including unusual adjustments, denials, fee schedules, etc.
Minimum qualifications you need:
1 or more years of experience in Medical Collections, with emphasis on denials
Fast and accurate typing and data entry skills
Strong ability to work independently, in a goal-driven environment
Reliable attendance and punctuality
