Overview: Carr Business Systems, Inc., A Xerox Company, is seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic set up of equipment, while providing excellent customer service as well as will be responsible for a wide variety of warehouse activities relating to the receipt, inspection, storage, picking, distribution and basic set up of office equipment, supplies and various goods This is a full-time opportunity delivering equipment throughout an assigned area. What You'll Do: Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record Load, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations Provide excellent customer service Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to networks Assist in receiving and shipping of Xerox products, equipment and various goods Load and unload vehicles Prepare equipment for shipment and delivery Check all orders for accuracy Maintain a clean and organized warehouse Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment Assist with inventory as needed What You Need to Succeed: Valid Driver's License with a relatively clean driving record One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16' - 26' box delivery truck preferred 1-2 years of warehouse experience is preferred Basic mechanical understanding preferred Experience using smartphone, tablet and/or laptop Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills Experience operating a forklift is preferred Physical Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Ability to stand for 8+ hours and regularly lift 50-75 pounds Able to safely maneuver oversized and overweight equipment Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that may not be climate-controlled How We Set You Up for Success: Hands-on training of Xerox equipment and all aspects of the delivery driver role and responsibilities Hands-on training of Xerox equipment and all aspects of warehouse safety and responsibilities Job shadowing to thoroughly prepare you to make deliveries and perform installations independently Ongoing career development training What We Offer: Competitive compensation (hourly compensation and applicable overtime) Comprehensive benefits offerings (including medical, dental, vision, life insurance) Retirement Plan - 401k Paid holidays, personal choice days, and paid time off A culture that offers flexibility and a healthy work life balance May be required to complete an annual DOT physical and drug screen if operating a vehicle weighing over 10,000 lbs.
