Wilmington Builders Supply is seeking a Millwork Box Truck driver who will be responsible for transporting millwork materials throughout MA & NH daily. This position will work with the foreman, manager, and lumberyard associates to pull and load materials for deliveries and ensure that materials are delivered correctly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete millwork deliveries throughout MA & NH daily
- Load and unload trucks efficiently at lumberyard and job sites
- Completing a thorough load check on the truck before leaving the lumberyard by making sure all materials are secured and all parts of the truck are in compliance with required regulations
- Documenting each step of delivery by taking and uploading photos to our software system
- Maintains truck according to state and federal regulations and inspects truck equipment on a daily basis
- Works with lumberyard shipper or manager regarding delivery instructions
- Provide good customer service and presents a professional appearance
- Additional responsibilities include warehouse work, loading or unloading deliveries as needed and other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid CDL - Class A or B
- Experience operating Moffett
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen and random drug screens are required
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
Job Type: 40+ Hours per week with occasional Saturdays; Full Time Position; Day Shift
