Location: Inland - WIC

Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Occasional Saturday's 8 am-12 Noon)

Position Summary:

The Degreed Nutritionist is responsible for providing nutrition and breastfeeding education to Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program participants individually and in groups to assure quality service. The Degreed Nutritionist also determines client eligibility and implements WIC Program services to eligible participantants.

• • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
  • General knowledge of Spanish, and willing to learn to counsel in Spanish.
  • Knowledge and experience in nutrition education and interventions.
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with low income, multicultural and multilingual populations.
  • Knowledge of WIC program and maternal child health.
  • Familiarity with electronic health/medical record systems.

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
