USGI is seeking an exceptionally qualified candidate to serve as Defense Readiness Reporting Systems (DRRS) Specialist to support Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH). Duties and Responsibilities Assist SOCSOUTH DRRS implementation, sustainment, auditing, training, testing and set priorities to facilitate the processes. The DRRS specialists will also conduct analysis of complex DRRS Related issues and develop concise recommendations as required. DODI 7730.66, Guidance for the Defense Readiness Reporting System, establishes and assigns responsibilities for readiness reporting throughout the DOD.
Possess the ability to obtain/renew DRRS Certification. Services shall be provided during normal working hours as defined in section 3.10. Maintain specialized DRRS services 100% of the time to assure critical support to the command despite fluctuating workloads and/or any peaks and valleys in the number of requirements handled. Gather, organize, and create Monthly and Quarterly Readiness Concerns report for USSOUTHCOM and USSOCOM for integration with the Joint Forces Readiness Review and Quarterly Readiness Metrics Briefing.
Utilize readiness reporting systems such as Joint Mission Essential Task List Development, Joint Training System (JTS), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), Joint and Service Planning and Operational Concepts and Systems and Department of Defense strategic policy, planning, and implementation processes and procedures as they relate to readiness and training.
Provide technical and planning support for the Readiness Branch Chief on DRRS issues as requested.
Support SOCSOUTH staff with analyzing operational deficiencies to develop technical shortcoming lists and/or narrative DRRS assessments as required.
Support JMETL (Joint Mission Essential Task List) with development and assessments for SOCSOUTH by providing input and feedback into mission-oriented task as required.
Qualifications 10 years prior military experience.
3 years' experience with DRRS
Shall possess a current SECRET security clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within 120 days of hire.
