DBT Engineer

Job Details:

" Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in creating procedures, views and complex queries

" Hands-on experience with DBT tool for data transformation and modelling

" Experience in building and managing data pipelines with knowledge of on-premises to cloud migration techniques

" Hands-on experience with snowflake utilities, Snow SQL, Snow pipe, bigdata along with python

" Experience in data migration from RDBMS to snowflake cloud Datawarehouse

Roles & Responsibility:

" Develop and maintain SQL procedures, views and scripts to support data processing and analytics needs

" Should be able to understand and translate business needs into dimension models supporting long term solution

" Design, build and manage data pipelines for extracting, transforming and loading data from various sources to target systems

" Work with development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models

" Utilize DBT tool for data transformation and modelling tasks

" Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions

" Optimize data processes for performance, scalability and reliability

" Assist in migrating on-premises data systems to cloud platforms ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption
