We're helping our client, a thriving childcare and preschool in the greater Pasadena area hire several Childcare Providers and Childcare Teachers to help in their classrooms. With a variety of classes (from infant classes to 5-year-old classes), our Childcare Providers and Childcare Teachers provide a magical, enriching, and safe experience for kids.
Our client believes that fostering a nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported is essential for their overall development.
Beyond that, our client believes that work/life balance for their Childcare Providers and Teachers is essential as well. You'll never work longer than an 8 hour shift, you'll get out at 6pm each evening, and you won't work holidays or weekends. What do we offer?
- Pay rate between $17-22/hr.
- Paid holidays and a few weeks of PTO per year.
- Health insurance for full-time employees.
- Some schedule flexibility (though 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm is our hiring focus right now).
- Flexibility in classroom (we are open to placing you in the classroom w/ the age group you feel most comfortable with).
What are we looking for?
- Must have completed the ECE courses required by the state of CA, or be enrolled in the courses.
- CDA preferred but not required.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Childcare Provider or Daycare Teacher preferred but not required.
Must have completed some or all of the ECE courses required by the state of CA. If all 12 credit hours have not been completed, must be enrolled in the remaining courses at time of hire.
Must have some experience working with children daycare or preschool experience preferred but not required.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to Pasadena 5 days a week.
Must be able to work an 8am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday schedule
