THE GREAT PAY

We offer a competitive pay rate of $15.00 to $17.50 per hour , based on experience and education. In addition, we provide enhanced pay in the form of Retention Pay, which is an additional $1.50 per hour available through June 30, 2024, and contingent upon continued funding.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

You'll work 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm .

A mandatory 1 week training will be held the first week and is scheduled M-Fr 8am-4:30pm

In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic group of residents, providing exceptional care, skilled teaching, and support. You will ensure they are safely transported to and from home, and medical, dental, and psychiatric appointments. You will also accompany and support them during leisure activities, promoting their overall well-being and engagement in the community.

Additionally, you will play a vital role in crisis assessment and prevention. As part of our commitment to a healthy and active lifestyle, you will also have the chance to attend pool and gym sessions with the individuals you support, fostering their physical well-being.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience or specific skills in working with developmentally disabled individuals in a habilitation or vocational setting
  • Valid driver's license for 6 months with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass van driving in-service
