Database Administrators

PERM Location: Cary, North Carolina and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Title: Database Administrators (HCL2043) Multiple job openings are available. Job Description: Assist with design, database administration, and configuration of implemented systems. Install, configure, maintain, build, and back-up databases. Responsible for tuning databases as per the clients needs on multiple operating systems. Work under the supervision of the Project Manager and utilize established procedures and methodologies to transfer data across different platforms. Monitor system security and provide production support to clients. Travel and work at client sites as assigned. Job Requirements: Requires Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field plus two (2) years experience in the job offered, or related IT or engineering role. Employer will accept a combination of education and experience as determined by a qualified evaluation service as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
