Data Scientist with Security Clearance

Join NS2 Mission as a Data Scientist, where you'll play a crucial role in unlocking the power of data to drive informed decision-making and shape the future of our analytics initiatives. You will be supporting the team in Virginia Beach, VA.
Required Skills and Experience: Ability to code in Python and leverage a variety of data analysis packages to include Pandas and/or Polars.
Experience working with distributed computing frameworks like Spark, data engineering technologies like Airflow, and a broad familiarity with contemporary database options.
Experience visualizing results from Exploratory Data Analysis and presenting findings to a customer.
Experience working with a software development team, software engineering best practices, and applying the results from a data science project to lightweight applications.
Experience developing machine learning models from inception and design, training, and testing, and through deployment.
Extensive knowledge of appropriate analytic methods and methodological tools in one or more of the following areas:
Applied Mathematics (e.g., probability and statistics, formal modeling, computational social sciences)
Computer Programming (e.g., programming languages, math/statistics packages, computer science, machine learning, scientific computing)
Visualization (e.g., GIS/geospatial analysis, telemetry analysis)Desired Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in data science, Data Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
On-the-job experience exhibiting communication skills, both oral and written, as well as making presentations to small audiences
Experience with Python
Experience with network architecture
Experience with risk assessments, methodologies, and scoring
Experience working independentlyPosition Clearance Requirement:
