Summary

As a data scientist, you will develop, deploy, and evaluate large language model (LLM) based models for enterprise applications, including chatbots on company data. You will work with a team of data scientists and engineers, as well as alongside business stakeholders, to deliver solutions that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, deploy, and evaluate LLM-based models for enterprise applications, such as chatbots on company data.
Implement and evaluate various LLM application logic ( flows ) and prompting strategies and stay up to date with the latest advancements in this field.
Conduct experiments and analysis to evaluate and optimize the performance and business value impact of LLM-based applications.
Collaborate with other data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Interact with business stakeholders to gather feedback and tailor solutions to business needs.

Skills Requirements

8+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, data science, or artificial intelligence.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Experience following software best practices in team settings, including version control (Git), CI/CD, documentation, & unit testing.
Experience using common NLP and/or ML Python frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers/Hugging Face, and NumPy.
Strong background and experience in natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning.
Hands-on experience with LLM skills including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, LLMOps, function-calling, and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) strongly preferred.
Experience with LLM tools such as OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Prompt Flow, Autogen, or Semantic Kernel strongly preferred.
Exposure to Microsoft Azure or similar cloud computing ecosystem preferred.
Experience with DevOps/MLOps/LLMOps strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team to work productively with business stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or related field.
