As an AI/ML Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI and machine learning models to support a variety of government applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify opportunities for AI/ML integration, and deliver solutions that meet our clients' needs. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with government clients to understand their requirements and objectives for AI/ML solutions.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns using advanced machine learning techniques.
- Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to solve specific problems and address critical challenges.
- Implement and optimize AI/ML solutions using programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, as well as libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to integrate AI/ML models into existing systems and applications.
- Conduct testing and validation of AI/ML models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance in real-world scenarios.
- Stay current with advancements in AI/ML research and technology trends, and evaluate their potential applications for government use cases.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on AI/ML best practices, methodologies, and tools to internal teams and government stakeholders.
- Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, proposal writing, and technical presentations. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science roles.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Keras.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, data visualization, and exploratory data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for AI/ML development and deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
