Position : Data Modeler

PETADATA is currently looking to hire for the position of Data Modeler for one of their clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Work with data architects and data analysts to implement data modeling solutions, query, map and document Source to Target Mappings, understand database schemas streamline and support enterprise information management.

Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.

Must be able to evaluate existing data systems.

Work with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.

Develop best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.

Review modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.

Implement data strategies and develop physical data models.

Update and optimizing local and metadata models.
-
Work independently and as a part of a team when required to get the results.

Evaluate implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.

Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.
Required Skills: -
Should have 9+ years of experience in SQL, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and enterprise Big Data platforms in multi-data-center contexts.

Experience with physical and relational,dimensional, analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, ETL and data ingestion protocols) data modeling.

Should be hands-on experience on data analysis and data testing.

Experience with data modeling tools ERWin (or) ER Studio (or) others.

Required Experience in metadata management and related tools.

Data modeling & Database administration experience.

Strong interpersonal, good analytical skills to exercise creative, and solution-based and abstract thinking. And ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Experience in team management.

Excellent Communication, Documentation and Presentation Skills.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
