Must be willing to be on site 3 days per week.

Summary of Position

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling complex projects within the implementation and deployment of our future Oracle Cloud Applications environment, specifically focused on the activities related to cleansing our data and readying it for transfer into master data management tools. The data cleansing and readiness effort requires extensive cross-team organization, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills. The Project Manager will be asked to lead various groups of employees as it relates to 3 major domains: Customer, Supplier, and Products.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

Lead and manage a cross section of 50-75 individuals responsible for data readiness and cleansing efforts.

Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.

Ensure timely execution of data readiness and cleansing tasks to meet project deadlines.

Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Data Cleansing Strategy:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality standards and objectives.

Design and implement data cleansing processes, including deduplication, standardization, and validation.

Work closely with IT and data analysts to identify and resolve data quality issues.

Develop and maintain documentation related to data cleansing procedures.

Team Management:

Identify, and onboard team members as needed for the data readiness and cleansing project.

Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and provide regular feedback.

Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.

Address any conflicts or performance issues within the team.

Manage project risks and work to mitigate them in partnership with the different stakeholders.

Quality Assurance and Reporting:

Conduct regular quality checks executed initiatives to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Generate progress reports, monitor milestones, and communicate project status to senior management.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data readiness & quality processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in data-related projects.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Certified Project Management Professional or equivalent formal certification preferred

Demonstrated stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings and work across multiple teams.

Proven expertise in creating accurate and regular reporting and documentation.

Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones while driving accountability for shared results.
