Role: Data Engineer (Dataiku Migration Specialist)

Location: ST Louis MO

Duration: Long Term

This position will have a strong focus on migrating data workflows from Alteryx to Dataiku. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both platforms, a solid understanding of data engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure a smooth transition.

Required Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.

Proven experience with Alteryx and Dataiku, including a deep understanding of their respective functionalities.

Hands-on experience in migrating data workflows from Alteryx to Dataiku.

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.

Certifications in Dataiku and/or Alteryx preferred.

Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Migration Planning and Execution:

Lead the migration of existing data workflows from Alteryx to Dataiku.

Develop a comprehensive migration strategy, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation plans.

Analyze existing Alteryx workflows to understand their functionality and determine the best approach for recreating them in Dataiku.

Data Integration and Management:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Dataiku.

Ensure data is ingested, processed, and stored efficiently and securely.

Optimize and tune workflows to improve performance and reliability.

Collaboration and Support:

Provide training and support to team members on Dataiku to enhance their proficiency.

Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of Dataiku into the existing data infrastructure.

Quality Assurance and Documentation:

Perform rigorous testing and validation of data workflows to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Document migration processes, data workflows, and system configurations for future reference and compliance purposes.

Qualifications Include:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
