About this position:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, evaluating, testing, and maintaining data architectures and solutions within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our data management systems are not only highly scalable but also aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.

Typical Day in the Role: Develop, evaluate, test and maintain architectures and data solutions within our organization. The typical Data Engineer executes plans, policies, and practices that control, protect, deliver, and enhance the value of the organization's data assets.

Job Responsibilities:

Designing, constructing, installing, testing, and maintaining highly scalable data management systems.

Ensuring that systems meet business requirements and adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining large-scale enterprise data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Building high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof of concepts.

Skills:

To qualify for this position, you should have: A process certification, such as Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, or CMMI, is a plus.

Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.

Collaboration with data architects, modelers, and IT team members to achieve project goals.

Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint.

Strong Python/SQL experience

Pay Range: $55-$75/hr based on location
