We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic organization in the finance industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and solve complex data challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server, SQL, Python, AWS, ETL, Data warehousing, and Data modeling.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable data infrastructure, databases, and data processing systems.
2. Implementing ETL processes and data pipelines to ingest, clean, and normalize data from various sources.
3. Utilizing SQL, Python, and other programming languages to perform data analysis and develop data-driven applications.
4. Leveraging AWS cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
5. Developing and optimizing data models to support business intelligence and data analytics initiatives.
6. Collaborating with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
7. Ensuring data privacy and compliance with data governance and data management policies.
8. Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues in a timely manner.
9. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and data management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Proven experience with SQL Server, SQL, Python, AWS, Spark, ETL, Data warehousing, Data modeling, and Apache.
4. Experience with Docker is a nice to have.
5. Strong understanding of database design, data structures, and algorithms.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality data solutions.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and data management.
10. Experience in the finance industry is a plus.
