Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains a system for managing office routine
  • Assists in planning, conducting and evaluating projects
  • Monitors programs and projects
  • Frequent contact with others outside the work group
  • Maintains technical expertise and procedural knowledge
  • Keeps supervision advised of work in process
  • Assumes operational assignments as a working member
  • Assists in the coordination of special or unusual projects

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled at WKU, or an accredited university
  • Able to work a minimum of 12 hours per week during school
  • May work up to 32 hours per week during school breaks (Summer, Winter, etc.)
  • Strong computer, communication and presentation skills are a must
  • Obtaining a degree in Manufacturing/ Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
