Do you have a passion for data and a knack for designing efficient systems? Are you an expert in data modeling and warehouse architecture? If so, then we want you on our team.
We seek a highly skilled Data Warehouse Architect to design, develop, and implement our data warehouse infrastructure. You will be critical in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will support, maintain, and enhance the Enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) system, which consists of the Data Warehouse and Reporting Application, and move the Enterprise BI system from an on-premises environment to the AWS cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a scalable and secure data warehouse architecture to meet the current and future needs of the business
- Create and maintain complex data models that optimize data storage, retrieval, and analysis
- Develop and implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure accurate and efficient data integration
- Select and implement appropriate data warehouse technologies and tools
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Document data warehouse processes and procedures
- Monitor and troubleshoot data warehouse performance
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree a plus)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and data architecture
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., Kimball methodology)
- Proven experience with ETL tools and methodologies
- Experience with data warehouse technologies such as dimensional modeling, data governance, and data security
- Excellent SQL programming skills
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
