We are looking for a seasoned Data Architect with specialized experience in Trade Reporting to join our financial services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that support trade reporting requirements and compliance with regulatory authorities. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of trade lifecycle, data modelling, and regulatory reporting processes.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid, 3 Days in a week)

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
  • Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
  • Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
  • Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
  • Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
  • Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
  • Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
  • Educate staff members through training and individual support.
  • Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all trading data reporting requirements are met and assist in the resolution of any reporting issues.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and other IT team members to establish business needs and design appropriate solutions.
  • Develop high-level data strategies that align with the organization's overall vision.

You are:

  • A minimum of 10 years experience as a data architect, data scientist, data analyst, or similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of database structure principles and data modeling for trading systems.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as data modeling tools.
  • Proficiency in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling, Medilion Architecture) and data mining.
  • Knowledge of financial trading platforms and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd-Frank)
  • Extensive experience on Trade Reporting
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and reporting software.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
