The Opportunity: As data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. We need a data analyst like you to bring your knowledge to empower our clients to understand their data. As a client-facing data analyst on our National Security team, you'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, but you'll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact. You'll identify and collect data sources, analyze and extract key data and information, and evaluate and monitor data integrity to meet the organization's demands. You'll develop innovative solutions to complex problems and provide business and te chn ical expertise for analytics process, tools, and applications to support the needs and recurring demands for a business or organization. How You'll Contribute:
As a data analyst on our team, you'll: Use your te chn ical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.
Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of data sets.
Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
Apply data skills and data analytics experience by simplifying te chn ical requirements and trends, based on audience.
Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases, and scripting languages such as SQL, Python, and Micro sof t Office Suite.
Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive te chn ical outcomes.
Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, data visualization tools, and PowerPoint slides.
Grow your communication and te chn ical skills by merging consulting and big data to create data-centric solutions. You Have: 2+ years of experience using Tableau Desktop to aggregate and analyze performance measures collected through different methods
2+ years of experience identifying and collecting data using various tools and methods
1+ years of experience in Tableau Prep and Tableau Server
1+ years of experience developing data visualizations and dashboards to communicate key insights
Experience with quantitative data analysis, performance measures, data cleansing, metrics analysis, and applied research
Experience leveraging various programs to facilitate process automation while maintaining data integrity
Experience using Micro sof t Office Suite
Ability to translate complex te chn ical findings to non-te chn ical audiences or executive leadership
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience in a programming language such as Python or SQL
Experience in an applied statistical package such as SPSS or R Studio
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
