Job Description

The Data Quality Analyst will be part of the Epsilon Data Delivery Team focusing on QA/QC responsibilities for Epsilon's TotalSource Plus (TSP) demographic and lifestyle product. As a member of the TSP Data Delivery Team, you will work in a group that is not only focused on their project work but also their efficiency, compliance, standards, situational awareness, and readiness. You'll be a critical part of a fast-moving, innovative team where you'll work independently in some situations as well as working with a greater team in tasks that require full collaboration.

What you'll do:

Review Reports generated every release cycle for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Analyze the reports to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Perform research and data analysis using ETL tools such as SQL (Hadoop), Excel, and Access.

Perform data comparisons between different TSP releases using Excel and Unix/putty.

Simulate using new source(s) and or Business Rule changes. Summarize findings and communicate to manager/lead.

Write and test Jira User Stories related to TSP data enhancements for each release cycle.

Interface with the Development Team that is responsible for code enhancements for data changes.

Interface with the Product Management Team that is responsible for overall data and product strategy.

Interface with the Source Prep Team that is responsible for processing data/transactions (billions of records) from Epsilon source data providers.

Prioritize multiple tasks concurrently and document business rules and or processes.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's Degree or 3-4 years of Data Analysis experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented, Ability to multi-task & take initiative and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Effective organization and time management skills.

Experience in researching, reviewing, and interrogating large data files.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Exposure to programming and analytic tools preferred (Python, Tableau, Hadoop, Data Visualization, etc.).

Experience with query languages and writing SQL queries.

Experience with Unix/putty language.

Experience in developing Test Plans and executing Test Cases.

Experience in using defect-tracking tools such as Jira.

Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.

Highly motivated and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually
