We are seeking a passionate and experienced Consulting Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Clarity PPM, advanced SQL skills, data analysis, and report development. This role is crucial to our engineering business, as you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to help us make strategic business decisions. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a knack for interpreting and analyzing data, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities:
1. Utilize Clarity PPM to manage and analyze project portfolio data, ensuring data quality and integrity.
2. Develop, implement and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and manage data.
3. Design and develop data reports using various tools and platforms.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and determine data requirements.
5. Translate business needs into technical specifications.
6. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
7. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
8. Filter and clean data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
9. Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
10. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
3. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
4. Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), and programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
5. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.).
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
8. Proficient in Clarity PPM and advanced SQL skills.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
11. Strong problem-solving skills, along with the ability to think creatively and work independently.
