Summary Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers. Apply knowledge to understand how our users interact with core business products. Analyze data and translate into recommendations. Work with various teams across the organization. Provide on-going support to programs, departments, IT and management with data activities.
Facilitate understanding, buy-in, and solution development for data activities.
Synthesize data requests from internal and external customers for planning and execution of data initiatives throughout the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to communicate technical concepts effectively to all levels of the organization.
Understand the links between data, processes, systems and people including the full lifecycle of data creation, data quality, data analysis, visualizations and reporting.
Creation of dashboards and data visualizations for internal and external customers.
Assess data quality, correlation, and able to analyze and interpret trends or patterns in large complex datasets. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 8 years' experience
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Experience with analyzing and extracting key data and information to meet an organization's information system needs and requirements
Experience in data validation and cleaning to ensure the quality and integrity of data
Experience with identifying and collecting data using tools or techniques
Experience with developing data visualizations and dashboards to communicate key insights
Experience with data analysis and reporting, including dashboard development, data cleansing, metrics analysis, and research
Experience with Structured Query Language
Ability to synthesize and communicate organizational performance based on information from disparate sources
Ability to translate complex and technical findings into an easily understood narrative, including in graphical, verbal, or written forms
Incumbent must possess active DoD TS/SCI Personal Security Clearance. Preferred Skills Proficient with Statistical Analysis concepts
Proficient with databases, data reporting, and statistical analysis packages (SQL, Excel, ETL, etc.) Security Responsibilities Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources. Incumbent must possess active DoD TS/SCI Personal Security Clearance. Preferred: TS/SCI with CI polygraph Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
