The Role

The Fidelity Center for Family Engagement is scaling their capacity to research these questions, and we are looking for an intellectually curious and quantitatively-minded individual to help us grow.

As a Sr. Manager, FCFE Data Analyst, your primary role will be in identifying, cleaning and analyzing data to provide key insights towards stated research questions and business goals. In addition to this, you will partner with other team members on developing and maintaining a data governance strategy.

You will work primarily with thought leadership as an important capability for translating large stores of demographic, behavioral, and psychological data into actionable insights that drive interventions, enterprise integration, marketing, and a growing understanding of complexities in emotional, relational and generational family dynamics.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5 to 9 years experience working with data in relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Snowflake)
  • 5 years' of software development experience using languages COBOL, Java, .NET, Python, R, etc.
  • Experience performing data exploration, building business intelligence reports and developing visualizations (using OBIEE, Power BI, or Tableau)
  • Experience designing and analyzing survey data
  • You are skilled at effectively defining use cases and have proven analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to determine solutions to unusual and complex problems
  • Proven track record communicating insights in a simple, clear, and actionable way
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to ask critical questions to proactively identify potential problems as well as paths towards resolution
  • Good interpersonal, relationship management and facilitation skills
  • Collaborate and connect with product owner from a data analytics perspective on new business needs and/or business partner feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical team members
  • Strong Inclination to understand FCFE, our approach and our mission
  • Focus on learning, iteration and experimentation
  • Experience with a variety of statistical analyses is a plus
