Our client is currently seeking a qualified Data Analyst to join their team for a remote position. This role will help drive critical business, product, and marketing decisions for client first party games business and will work closely with team members in marketing, studios, finance, research, marketing communications, data services, and more to help with business planning, studio support, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role must have a passion for gaming and the gaming industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform games performance analysis, including evaluation of marketing trends and tactics
    • Fiscal year revenue, player and engagement forecasting, targeting, and reporting
    • Help develop pricing and SKU strategy
    • Develop player behavior analysis
    • Consult on game marketing plans
  • Perform portfolio intelligence insights and analysis for first-party games, including user behaviors in spend and engagement
    • Monthly Business Review reporting
    • Pre-launch and launch reporting, including pre-order and social sentiment tracking
    • Microtransactions spending behavior
    • Development milestone support
    • Title performance within gaming subscriptions
  • Assist with future games business strategy and opportunities across consumers, devices, business models, and geographies
    • Long range planning for game financial performance
    • Concept / pitch evaluations and mock reviews for games in development
    • Games industry 3 to 5 year outlook
    • Growth markets to target

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 to 7+ years of experience in product marketing / management, strategy consulting, finance, business / corporate development, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with
    • data analysis
    • converting data insights into storytelling
    • advanced Excel
  • Skilled at both analyzing data and telling a story with the resulting findings, then
    translating this into actionable, impactful recommendations
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work closely with marketers, business planners, studio partners, finance, researchers, data scientists, with a focus on empowering the team to come together and solve complex problems
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity


$54.80 - $60.25 per hour
