Posting Identification Number 35848 Danville Correctional Center is looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Office Coordinator to work in its Records Office. The person selected for this position will perform technical office support functions including calculation of good time, encompassing a knowledge of applicable statutes, appellate mandates, and how increments of time are awarded at Danville Correctional Center. Essential Function 1 Performs technical office support functions and technical work that is coordinative in nature. Essential Function 2 Serves as the Institutional Liaison with the Prisoner Review Board. Essential Function 3 Serves as Institutional Liaison with the Transfer Coordinator's Office in arranging transfers. Essential Function 4 Participates in regulating, monitoring, and processing information and documents regarding sentence calculations. Essential Function 5 Organizes and maintains all files relating to Statutory Sentence Credit, Earned Program Sentence Credit and Earned Discretionary Sentence Credit. Essential Function 6 Composes and keyboards routine memos regarding updated/revised procedures and processes for the Record Office. Essential Function 7 Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications 1 Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to two (2) years of secretarial/business college or completion of high school and two (2) years of related office experience or two (2) years of independent business experience. Minimum Qualifications 2 Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 30 words per minute. Preferred Qualifications 1 Prefers at least one (1) year of experience working with office procedures and programs. Preferred Qualifications 2 Prefers at least one (1) year of experience using composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Preferred Qualifications 3 Prefers at least one (1) year of experience utilizing basic mathematics. Preferred Qualifications 4 Prefers at least one (1) year of experience following oral or written instructioons. Preferred Qualifications 5 Prefers at least one (1) year of experience using common office equipment and performing routine maintenance.
