Daily Substitute Teacher

We are seeking enthusiastic Special Education Teachers to join our dynamic educational community and embrace the opportunity to support students in grades Kindergarten through 4th grade. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play an essential role in ensuring that every student receives a superior education tailored to their unique learning requirements, including those with diverse needs. Teaching Hours: 7:30 - 4:30

Daily pay rate: 200

Grade level(s): K-4

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

Valid Special Education teaching certification/license issued by the state of New Jersey

Experience desired in working with students who have diverse learning needs, including disabilities and English language learners

Familiarity with evidence-based practices in special education such as differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and behavior management strategies

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to promote effective collaboration with colleagues, parents/guardians, and community stakeholders

Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and implementing culturally responsive teaching practices

Preferred fluency in Spanish
