Lucayan Technology LLC is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer (SME) to support Koa Lani JV LLC to provide onsite Cybersecurity, Systems Administration, Network Administration Support for the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) operations support contract. The Cybersecurity Engineer will perform Cybersecurity designated and appointed roles and actions involving secure configuration compliance validation via government designated tools and resources, to include, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Security Center and Nessus scanner administration, Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS) and other approved DOD compliance solutions, Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) administration, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) / Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Support, product generation, support, scans, checks and configuration management administration and government designated support to preparation and inspection by the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) compliance as determined by the government guidance and directives and applicable governance. Contractor shall perform Cybersecurity actions IAW official government 3 guidelines and directives, which currently include but are not limited to Information Assurance Vulnerability Management notifications (IAVM), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) guidelines, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms). Job Responsibilities: Design and implement cybersecurity measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. Identify vulnerabilities in software, hardware, and network infrastructure. Develop and maintain security policies and procedures. Perform regular security assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Respond to cybersecurity incidents and conduct forensic investigations. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into new systems. Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees about cybersecurity best practices. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Proven experience as a cybersecurity engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of security protocols and frameworks. Hands-on experience with network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. Understanding of risk assessment methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Desired Experience: Previous experience in the financial, healthcare, or technology industry. Top Secret Clearance Ten (10) years in Computer Network Defense (CND), or ten (10) years of experience in Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity. IAM Level- III certification IAW DoD 8570.01-1M (Look for Cisco, CISP, CISM, CompTIA Security +, CCSP, Cloud+, CASP) Familiarity with cloud security technologies and practices. Experience in conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements. Ability to design and implement secure infrastructure architectures. Experience with incident response and threat hunting.
